Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 16, 2022
Last Updated: August 19, 2026

At Qloudify, we aim to provide reliable hosting, domain registration, business email, VPS, reseller hosting, and related digital infrastructure services.

By purchasing a Qloudify service, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy together with our Terms & Conditions and any applicable service-specific terms.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

1. General Refund Principles

Refunds are considered according to:

  • The type of service purchased
  • Whether the service has been activated or used
  • The applicable billing period
  • Whether the service is eligible for cancellation
  • Any applicable third-party provider or registry rules
  • The circumstances giving rise to the refund request
  • Applicable law

Payment alone does not guarantee that a refund will be available.

Where a service is eligible for a refund, Qloudify may process the refund using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

2. Shared Hosting

Eligible shared hosting plans may qualify for a refund where the customer requests cancellation within the applicable refund period stated on the relevant service or order.

To request a refund, the customer must submit a cancellation/refund request through their Qloudify client account or contact Qloudify support.

Once a refund request has been approved, Qloudify may terminate or suspend the associated hosting service.

Refunds May Not Be Available Where

  • The applicable refund period has expired
  • The service has been substantially used
  • The account or service has been suspended or terminated because of a violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • The customer has engaged in fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or prohibited use
  • The request relates to a service or fee expressly identified as non-refundable
  • A third-party cost has already been incurred and cannot reasonably be recovered

3. WordPress Hosting

WordPress hosting follows the same general refund principles applicable to shared hosting unless the relevant service description states otherwise.

Refund eligibility may be affected where Qloudify has already performed substantial setup, migration, configuration, optimization, technical work, or other services specifically requested by the customer.

4. VPS Services

VPS services may be refundable only where the applicable VPS plan or order expressly provides for a refund period.

Once a VPS has been provisioned and materially used, refunds may not be available for the used billing period.

Setup fees, licenses, IP-related charges, third-party software charges, and other consumed or third-party costs may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

5. Reseller Hosting

Reseller hosting is subject to the refund terms applicable to the specific reseller plan purchased.

Where a reseller account has been provisioned and materially used, Qloudify may determine that the service is no longer eligible for a refund.

Any third-party licenses, setup services, or other consumed charges may be excluded from a refund where permitted by law.

6. Business Email

Business email services may be eligible for a refund only where the applicable plan provides a refund period.

Refunds may not be available after substantial use of the mailbox, email service, storage, or other included resources.

Third-party licensing or other consumed charges may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

7. Domain Registrations

Domain registrations are generally non-refundable once successfully registered.

This is because domain registration involves a registration transaction with a domain registrar or registry and the domain may have already been allocated to the customer.

A domain registration fee may therefore not be refundable after successful registration, except where:

  • Qloudify made an error resulting in the registration not being completed as ordered
  • The applicable registrar or registry permits a refund
  • Qloudify expressly agrees to provide a refund
  • A refund is required by applicable law

8. Domain Renewals

Domain renewal fees are generally non-refundable once the renewal has been successfully processed.

Customers are responsible for checking their domain renewal settings and ensuring that automatic renewal is enabled or disabled according to their preference.

Where a domain has entered a redemption or restoration period, additional registry or registrar fees may apply and may be non-refundable.

9. Domain Transfers

Domain transfer fees are generally non-refundable once a transfer has been successfully initiated or completed, particularly where Qloudify or a third-party registrar has already incurred the applicable transfer cost.

If a transfer fails before the applicable registrar or registry cost is incurred, Qloudify may, at its discretion, refund the eligible amount.

Third-party registrar and registry rules may also apply.

10. Setup, Migration and Technical Services

Fees for services that involve work performed specifically for a customer may be non-refundable once the work has commenced.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Website migration
  • Server configuration
  • VPS setup
  • WordPress setup
  • Website installation
  • Technical configuration
  • Custom setup
  • Troubleshooting services
  • Manual technical work
  • Other services that have already been substantially performed

Where appropriate, Qloudify may consider a partial refund for work that has not yet been performed.

11. Promotional and Discounted Services

Promotional prices, introductory prices, discounts, credits, coupons, and special offers may have additional refund conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a promotional price does not guarantee the same price upon renewal.

Where a refund is approved for an order containing promotional discounts, Qloudify may calculate the refund based on the actual amount paid rather than the standard retail price.

12. Third-Party Services

Some Qloudify services depend on third-party providers, including:

  • Domain registrars
  • Domain registries
  • Payment processors
  • Software providers
  • Licensing providers
  • Infrastructure providers
  • Security providers
  • Other technology providers

Where Qloudify has already paid a third-party provider and the applicable amount cannot be recovered, that amount may be excluded from a refund where permitted by law.

13. Duplicate Payments

If a customer accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same invoice or service, the customer should contact Qloudify as soon as possible.

After verification, the duplicate payment may be refunded or applied to another outstanding invoice with the customer’s agreement.

14. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions

If a customer believes that an unauthorized payment has been made using their payment method, they should contact Qloudify immediately.

Qloudify may investigate the transaction and may request information reasonably necessary to verify the claim.

Refunds relating to fraudulent transactions are subject to the results of the investigation and applicable payment-provider procedures.

15. Service Cancellation

Cancellation of a service does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Customers must submit a cancellation request through the applicable Qloudify cancellation process.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund previously paid amounts.

16. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, customers should:

  1. Log in to their Qloudify client account.
  2. Submit a cancellation/refund request for the relevant service; or
  3. Contact Qloudify support at contact@qloudify.com.

Information Required

The request should include:

  • Customer name
  • Account email address
  • Invoice number
  • Service concerned
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant supporting information

Providing complete information helps us process requests more efficiently.

17. Refund Review

Qloudify will review each refund request based on the applicable service terms, this Refund Policy, the customer’s account history, the status and usage of the service, applicable third-party rules, and applicable law.

Approval of one refund does not create an entitlement to future refunds in circumstances that are different.

18. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, Qloudify will normally process it to the original payment method where technically and reasonably possible.

The time required for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, mobile-money provider, or other financial institution.

Qloudify is not responsible for delays caused solely by a third-party payment provider after the refund has been successfully initiated.

19. Account Credits

Where appropriate and with the customer’s agreement, Qloudify may offer account credit instead of a monetary refund.

Account credits may be applied toward eligible future Qloudify services and may be subject to applicable expiry or usage conditions communicated at the time the credit is issued.

20. Chargebacks

Customers should contact Qloudify first if they believe a payment was made incorrectly or a refund is owed.

Unnecessary or fraudulent chargebacks may result in an investigation, suspension of services, or account restrictions where permitted by our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any rights a customer has under applicable law or payment-network rules.

21. Non-Refundable Services

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the following may generally be non-refundable once supplied, activated, registered, initiated, or consumed:

  • Domain registrations
  • Domain renewals
  • Domain transfer fees after processing has commenced
  • Redemption and restoration fees
  • Third-party fees
  • Setup fees
  • Migration services after work has commenced
  • Custom technical services after work has commenced
  • Software and licensing fees
  • Services that have already been substantially consumed
  • Services terminated because of fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or violation of our Terms & Conditions

22. Changes to This Refund Policy

Qloudify may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment providers, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.

The Last Updated date will be changed whenever this policy is materially updated.

The version applicable to a customer’s purchase will generally be the version in effect when the relevant transaction occurred, subject to applicable law.

23. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to remove, restrict, or waive any statutory consumer rights, cancellation rights, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where applicable law provides a customer with a greater right to cancel or obtain a refund than this policy provides, the applicable legal right will prevail.
